IfT and Hayfever
Very simply, I know from over 40 years of clinical work with IfT that it can help treat a wide variety of conditions. In order to design and develop new machines given the advances in electronics in recent years, I now need to carry out research to be able to prove that it can achieve what I have seen clinically with patients.
Hayfever is one of the few conditions that I have successfully treated where IfT is all that is required. Couple that with the fact that there are so many sufferers across the world who have to live with really debilitating symptoms, I thought this would be a good starting point to develop a simple device that people can buy to treat themselves at home.
At the moment, there are very few clinicians who use IfT, and even fewer who would even consider using it for treating hayfever.
To prove and support my clinical observations, I will be starting clinical trials for hayfever using my existing Clinic Machines. Once this is done, and the results are good, then I can move on to designing the “hayfever specific” prototype. Then when the prototype design has been tested for efficacy (and safety) then I will work with a manufacturer to produce the home units for sale across the world.
All of this will need a great deal of money. As a result, I will be applying for Research Funding or looking for investors.
As this project progresses, then I will post the development milestones on this page.
The aim with the hayfever project is to generate enough money to fund further research into new, specific devices across the whole range of conditions that I know will respond to IfT.
To treat hayfever at the moment with my clinic machines, means bandaging 2 small electrodes across the forehead and 1 across the bridge of the nose.
This is not something that you can do yourself!
My proposed new device will be far simpler to apply and hopefully will be linked to a smartphone app, which in turn will provide ongoing evidence of usage and the real-time effectiveness of IfT for hayfever.
