IfT treatment for Hayfever

Essentially, hayfever is the body over-reacting to a stimulus - in this case it could be tree or flower pollen, or any number of things that we inhale that causes an acute inflammatory response. In short, the immune system doesn’t respond in the right way.

The current ways of treating hayfever only “manage” the symptoms by trying to reduce that inflammatory response.

By using specific frequencies that the IfT can produce, then the over-reaction of the immune system can be moderated and brought within normal limits. The objective is to restore normal activity in the immune system and actually treat the hayfever.

The underlying concept of IfT is that the cells of the body produce low frequency currents and these frequencies vary with the cell type. EEGs, EMGs, ECGs detect the different frequencies produced by the different cell types. By generating the appropriate frequency in the structure under treatment, then the function of the “damaged” cell can be restored.

Electrotherapy in the 1940s!

This was known as the Begonie Chair.

Happily technology has advanced since then!

In non-scientific terms – IFT stimulates the body to heal itself. This effects can be clinically observed in the marked reduction in healing times of fractures, nerve damage, wounds and ulcers for example.

I have treated many patients with hayfever during the 42 years that I worked in my private Physiotherapy Clinic.

One patient has now gone more than 20 years with no recurrence of the hayfever.
